Overview

Filename Magic Pro is a tool which renames files within a folder. This version includes the following features:

Rename Settings
• Text replacement
• Add prefixes
• Add suffixes
• Change the case of the name to UPPER or lower
• Add sequence naming as prefix
• Add sequence naming as suffix
• Add sequence naming as replacement string
• Use numeric or alpha sequencing
• Start the sequences on a value of your choice

Extended Settings

• Modify Extensions
• Append text to complete file name
• Include subfolders in processing
• Generate a log file of actions performed
• Generate an "Undo Batch File" to undo renaming actions
• Rename files to a separate location (allows originals to remain as-is)

Attribute Settings
• Modify attributes (read-only, archive, hidden, system)
• Modify date and time (creation, modified, last accessed)

CD Audio Settings
Rename existing tracks to those of the original CD track names. The process is simple:

1. Insert original CD
2. Select existing audio files
3. Click [Get Names] to pull names from CD down via the internet
4. Make sure the order of tracks corresponds to the list of track names
5. Click [Start]

Filter Setting
• Filter on attributes (inclusion or exclusion of attribute settings)
• Filter on file dates and times (creation, modified, last accessed)
• Filter on file extensions (inclusion or exclusion of files)

Extra Stuff
• Preview actions prior to actual renaming
• Help included
• Explorer integration allows for right-click on a folder to launch Filename Magic Pro
